21 Day Cleanse
Revitalize your immune system!
Have you been wanting to eat healthier? Maybe you’ve wanted to do a cleanse and didn’t know where to start. This is a mild whole-body cleanse that is structured and easy to do. You won’t be left feeling hungry, in fact you are able to eat plenty! The cleansing supplement supports liver detoxification pathways so that you mobilize and excrete toxins in your body.
Participating in a 21 Day Cleanse can leave you with increased energy and often alleviate chronic symptoms that are related to food sensitivities. As we learn to cut out allergenic and inflammatory foods and replace them with healthy and nutrient dense foods, we develop healthy eating habits.
Most people lose weight and feel healthier at the end of a cleanse. It is a great way to revitalize your immune system and get rid of toxins in your body. Think of it as a tune up for your body, cleansing should be a part of everyone’s routine!
Starts September 14, 2010
Meetings every Tuesday Evening – Sept 14 – Oct 5; 6-7 pm.
Cost for Program $250
Repeat participants – $200

First Aid Kit
We spend a lot of time in the summer engaging in outdoor activities and home improvement projects and tend to be more prone hurting ourselves in the beautiful weather. Now is a great time to revisit your first aid kit and make sure it’s fully stocked for the next minor mishap that could happen at anytime. Here is what the American Red Cross recommends your first aid kit should include; you can find a pre-made kit at your local drug store with all of these necessities.
- 2 absorbent compress dressings (5 x 9 inches)
- 25 adhesive bandages (assorted sizes)
- 1 adhesive cloth tape (10 yards x 1 inch)
- 5 antibiotic ointment packets (approx 1 gram)
- 5 antiseptic wipe packets
- 2 packets of aspirin (81 mg each)
- 1 blanket (space blanket)
- 1 breathing barrier (with one-way valve)
- 1 instant cold compress
- 2 pair of nonlatex gloves (size: large)
- 2 hydrocortisone ointment packets (1 gram each)
- Scissors
- 1 roller bandage (3 inches wide)
- 1 roller bandage (4 inches wide)

- 5 sterile gauze pads (4 x 4 inches)
- Oral thermometer (non-mercury/nonglass)
- 2 triangular bandages

Update your first aid kit every six months (put a note in your calendar/planner) to replenish and check all supplies, check for expiration dates and damaged products. Check with your family doctor for any specific medicines and first aid supplies your family might require for an emergency. Using tubes, plastic bottles, or Ziploc bags can help prevent contamination. Label all first aid supplies for easy identification. The following two documents highlight herbs and homeopathic remedies that would be useful in a first aid kit, they can be purchased at my office or at health food stores. Print out these documents and keep them in your first aid kit as easy reference guides
